This week I am sharing my love for all things Nike. I just bought some new stuff last weekend and have become even more in love. Yes, it’s super expensive, but thanks to my job I get reimbursed for gym gear (only up to a certain amount). Our company is huge on health and fitness so they do a lot of reimbursements (gym memberships, sport leagues, running events, personal training, etc.). It’s really awesome so I try to take advantage of it whenever I can. And these new cool workout clothes have definitely motivated me to get my butt to the gym more. They are so flattering, and I don’t feel like a bit fat-butt when I have them on.
1. Legend Tight Fit Running Capri
I just bought these this past weekend, and I adore them. I will openly admit that I’m now one of “those girls” that wears workout clothes when I’m not working out or even planning to workout that day. These pants make me feel so skinny and are so comfy!
2. Free Run+ 3
I don’t have these yet, but I want them so bad! I mean, who wouldn’t want neon coral running shoes? I’m sure you would run at least 10x faster with neon shoes. I just got new running shoes for Christmas, but I really really want these too. You can never have too many pairs of running shoes, right?
3. Legend (Dri-Fit) T-Shirt
I bought two of these because they were on sale for $18 at Sports Authority this past weekend. I wore one for my workout on Wednesday, and I really like them so far. They’re light, fit perfectly and are overall very easy to workout in. I got a more pinkish-purple than the one above and also just plain white, but I want to go get more. I have a feeling these will be my go-to running shirts from now on. They also have this exact kind in tank tops and long sleeve shirts so maybe I’ll try those too.
4. Nike+ Sensor
I have heard mixed reviews about this so I’m still unsure if I want to buy one just yet. Rumor has it that they are faulty and sometimes the battery dies (which you can’t change supposedly?). It has an okay rating on Nike.com so maybe they have updated it. Basically you just put it in your shoe and it tracks your pace, distance, and calories burned. Does anyone else have one of these? What do you think of it?
5. Element Half-Zip Running Top
I don’t usually run outside when it’s cold out, but I might if I had the right gear. Well, maybe not. I’m a baby when it comes to running outside in the cold weather. I just don’t like when it feels like my lungs are completely frozen. Ha, so I would probably just use this as a post-workout jacket.
